Start your day with a hearty breakfast! The festival weekend kicks-off Saturday morning with a Pancake Breakfast from 6 to 10 am at our local fire station just two blocks west of the Courthouse Square.

Afterwards, head to the Courthouse Square for a full day of old-fashioned fun celebrating all things Mayberry. Beginning at 9 am both days, vendors open their arts and craft booths for your shopping pleasure. On Saturday only beginning at 9 am, the Mayberry in the Midwest Parade ushers in Tribute Artists, a marching band, squad cars, a pack of Opie look-a-likes, and more surprises.

Arts and Craft vendors will line the downtown square during the two-day festival. Booths open from 9 am to 5:00 pm so you can shop for that perfect gift or festival souvenir.  When you need a rest, relax at a picnic table in front of the Jefferson Street stage.  Throughout the day, the stage will have a variety of entertainment to delight both young and old.  Listen to music, watch the Tribute Artist Show, or cheer on participants as they compete in the trivia contest featured on stage.

On Saturday, Rodney Dillard and the Dillard Band will perform a bluegrass concert. Tickets will be available online after February 1, 2015.

Sunday morning, you won’t want to miss the Squad Car Nationals at 9 am just south of the Square. Where else can you see owners of Mayberry squad cars competing against the clock as they perform specific tasks involving the use of their iconic Ford Galaxies. Winners take home a trophy and bragging rights…….until next time.
