The Royal Theatre. "A retro theatre with modern convenience," the 1914 Royal is today home to movies, live concerts featuring national touring talent, and even free events for families. Visit the Royal Theatre's website.
At the centerpiece of Danville's historic town square is the imposing Hendricks County Courthouse. Built in the Neoclassical style of Indiana Limestone, the building features Doric columns and stained glass. The Courthouse is open to the public during business hours. Historic Main Street
The Danville Public Library (a Carnegie Library). This 1902 structure and its tasteful modern addition is Danville's thriving center for learning. Adult and youth programs are featured nearly daily, and the library offers fun seasonal programs like Geneology After Hours and Spooktacular Storytime in the park.
